FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

How long will the 1.9L last?

The 1.9 Litre lasts 64 days (15ml twice daily) at maintenance level.

How long will the 3.8L last?

The 3.8 Litre lasts 128 days (15ml twice daily) at maintenance level.

My horse is a picky eater. Will they like the taste?

RelyneGI is unflavoured, so no taste or smell; most horses do not have any aversion to it on their feed. It can also be administered via oral syringe.

Can I top dress feed that is set up the night before?

Relyne GI can be pre-mixed into the food prior to feeding, but it’s most effective if it’s given while the product is still hydrated before it’s had a chance to dry out.

Do you need a prescription from your vet to use RelyneGI?

Relyne GI is classified as a nutritional supplement so it does not require a prescription.

What’s the difference with the new formula?

We have improved the formulation to incorporate a higher grade Beta Glucan (immune modulating ingredient). Building on the proven science behind the original gastric health supplement, the new and improved RelyneGI introduces a number of new product features:

  • an improved Schizophyllum Commune Beta Glucan (TGB-136™) that stimulates the immune system to work on targeted areas of a horse’s stomach

  • high molecular weight hyaluronan (HA) that helps coat and protect the stomach lining

Why does the new product have a new colour?

The new formula has resulted in a slight colour change for those familiar with the product (it’s now a slight golden colour), but this had no effect on the consumption of the product during research. The new colour is caused by the inclusion of the new Schizophyllan Beta Glucan, a highly researched ingredient.

Can I use RelyneGI with other gastric protectants/stimulants?

Yes, RelyneGI can be used alongside other gastro protectants/treatments.

Can I switch to the maintenance feeding rate following completion of the initial loading feeding rate after the first month?

Every horse is different; we recommend those horses in heavy work or under stressful conditions use the loading feeding rate.
